I’ve seen a lot of dance variations and must say that Kenichi Ebini’s audition for America’s Got Talent is one of the most entertaining that I have seen in a long time. This audition kept me glued to the screen throughout the entire video. Kudos to you Kenichi.
Those of you that know me and follow me on social media know I am a HUGE fan of Pharrell‘s song “Happy“. Detroit Academy of Arts and Sciences choir covered this song and gave me chills. This young choir can sang! Yes, I said sang. That is a bazillion times better than sing. I hope their video gets to Pharell. He will just love this. Great job children!!! Thank you Edward Bone for posting this video. Here is Pharrell’s version
My heart went out for Linda Beltran, however at the same time I was laughing so hard because her 3-year old son Mateo had (in his mind) very valid arguments as to why him and his brother should be able to have cupcakes for dinner. When he said Linda Honey I just about lost it. Our children say the darndest things. My heart goes out to you Linda.
Aimee Mullins There’s an important difference and distinction between the objective medical fact of my being an amputee and the subjective societal opinion of whether or not I’m disabled. Truthfully, the only real and consistent disability I’ve had to confront is the world ever thinking that I could be described by those definitions.” (Aimee Mullins)

I was scrolling through the Google Play Store and noticed Sprint recommended Lookout Mobile Security. I went to the Lookout app and read the reviews. What impressed me first about the reviews, enough to try the app, was being able to locate your phone. How many times have we lost our phones and were unable to find them? I downloaded the app and set up mylookout.com profile online. After the profile set up I enabled the scream feature to find my phone (even if phone Continue reading →
This blog was inspired from one line, “told me a lie and didn’t have an alibi”, from Jocelyn Brown’s song entitled “Somebody Else’s Guy”. Don’t make relationship decisions for other people. If you are in a relationship tell the potential other woman that you are in relationship. Then let her decide if she wants to be the other woman. Some women might be comfortable with being the other woman, however the lies come in when a man wants to enter into an extra relationship with Continue reading →

Rosa Parks (born Rosa Louise McCauley) was born on February 4, 1913 in Tuskegee Alabama. Parks was coined the “mother of the modern day civil rights movement” in the United States of America after she refused to give up her seat to a white man on a bus on December 1, 1955, during a typical evening rush hour in Montgomery, Alabama. She was 42 years old. This quiet protest got the attention of 26 year old minister of the Dexter Avenue Baptist Church, Reverend Martin Luther Continue reading →
Check the video of the rapping Southwest Airlines flight attendant. I want him to be on my next flight. I always seems to fly Delta. Maybe he will moonlight just for me.
During what I believe to be one of the roughest periods of my life I would have ‘Better Than Blessed‘ by Louise “Candy” Davis on repeat. I played this song each and every day. When I was cold and waiting for the bus, I would play this song and it would warm me up. When I wanted to have a pity party this song made me get out of line. Find your inspiration(s) and use it/them to make you a better you. I hope this Continue reading →
